Joshua Arvidson is the Director and co-founder of the Alaska Child Trauma Center at Anchorage Community Mental Health Services, Alaska’s first child trauma treatment and training center. He directs the Governor-funded Alaska Statewide Trauma-Informed Training Initiative, directs 3 statewide service and training programs for the Office of Children’s Services focused on early childhood trauma, and served on the NCTSN Steering Committee and numerous work groups. He has over 15 years experience working with Alaskan Native/American Indian children/families in the child welfare system.
