Kayla Lord, MS
Kayla is an advanced doctoral student in Suffolk University's Clinical Psychology PhD program. She received an MS in Clinical Psychology from Suffolk University. Kayla has worked as a research assistant in the Institute for Research, Inquiry, and Evaluation for Justice Resource Institute since 2016. Her research interests are focused on investigating transdiagnostic traits and mechanisms, particularly social/interpersonal processes, that influence the manifestation, progression, and treatment of anxiety, mood, and trauma-related disorders. She has conducted research investigating the temporal relationships between PTSD symptoms and social functioning across residential treatment in a sample of traumatized youth.
