Cycle 1

Cycle 1: 2009-2012

Year 1: Northeast CTTN Learning Communities addressed complex trauma response in multiple state and regional service systems beginning in 2009-2010.

Year 2: Pacific Northwest Learning Communities addressed adaptation of trauma principles and practices in early learning and K-12 education systems beginning in 2010-2011.

Year 3: Southern Gulf Coast Region Learning Communities addressed integration of trauma informed practice across state and county level systems  beginning in 2011-2012.

Cycle 2

Cycle 2: 2013-2016

Year 1: New England Region Learning Communities address integration of trauma informed services and practices across multiple state and regional service systems including residential, managed care, homeless shelters, juvenile justice, and foster care beginning in 2012-2013.

Year 2: Southern States and Puerto Rico Learning Communities addressed trauma response in child welfare systems.



Cycle 3

Cycle 3: 2017-2021

​This cycle, the central purpose of the CTTN is to expand access to trauma-informed services for children and families impacted by complex trauma in three service settings impacted by complex trauma: residential treatment settings, homeless shelters, and juvenile justice detention centers.
